SmartData have developed software that is used to run the organisations activities. This includes membership and the management of several UKAS accredited farm assurance schemes, including farm assessments and certifications. This project has provided exceptional value for money providing savings in organisation running costs in excess of £20,000 annually (verification can be provided if required).

A windows forms application closely integrated with Windows operating system written using the .Net framework for the purpose of logging time and providing analytical tools and general time management. The application provides a very accurate and visual representation of tasks using a schedule view. Rather than logging time with a set timer the system continuously runs a timer and utilises a hierarchical context menu on an icon in the taskbar to identify changes between tasks, making recording very easy and efficient. Complex reports are made easy with a mechanism to build up criteria as required and many visual report modes are supported along with standard Excel and pdf representations.

An application developed for the purpose of helping 3rd world countries keep track of the growth progress of crops and estimated yield, with the primary goal of ensuring that there is enough food for the population, provide sufficient warning of shortfalls and also to advise the locals on better production methodologies whilst working closely with other world leading organisations in the field of agriculture. This solution was split into 2 components: the main web application and database for central store of data and an android application that interacts with the main application via a restful API. The mobile application is installed on even the cheapest of phones and downloads a survey definition for different crops and animals which includes example images of crops in varying stages of development and similar images for animal development/states.

An application developed for the purpose streamlining the choices of potential marketing tasks by client sector and analysing the results of those actions to further improve subsequent marketing activities by client sector This tool supports a self referencing structural hierarchy of marketing actions and using a star rating system based on the results of previous marketing tasks, aims to utilise the feedback to further promote the most effective marketing strategies by client company sector.

This application was a conversion of a legacy VB.Net Windows Forms application into a web based solution supporting integration with numerous third parties including well known entities such as Red Tractor and DEFRA.
